The AMICALE JOGGING CLUB (AJC) is organising running events at a regular basis , like a COOPER TEST along the Vliet and the annual Patent Run and in October 2003 we participated in the Marseille- Cassis.

PATENT RUN

This year we organize again the famous 6 km patent-run again on Friday June 30

An inscription form and a map of the track,  you will find under the dedicated Patent Run pages.

MARATHONS

It has become a tradition, that the Jogging Club organizes a trip to a marathon in a more or less exotic place. More info on the marathon pages.

The COOPER test

The COOPER test was developed by Dr. Kenneth H. Cooper to test the physical condition of US Air Force pilots. In the Cooper running test one runs for 12 minutes at maximum exertion level and the objective is to cover the greatest distance in the allotted time period, which gives an indication of your fitness level and cardio-respiratory endurance. The Amicale Jogging Club organises Cooper Tests quite regularly  to enable you to monitor your fitness. More info, like performance tables and results from the last Cooper Test, you will find on the Cooper Test pages.

TRAINING SESSIONS

The Jogging Club organizes regular training sessions. The RunForFun programme is in its second year.

RELAY-RUN 1997

On the occasion of the 20th birthday of the EPO the Amicale Jogging Club organized a non-stop relay run from Rijswijk to Munich.
